Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admitted earlier this year that he would jump to have filed demands for the purchase of three more players to strengthen the Manchester United squad. Solskjaer spoke directly to Ed Woodward so that the three players could immediately join the Red Devils’ pre-season tour.
So far, MU have only recruited two players: Daniel James and Aaron Wan-Bissaka. The two young players are believed to be right to solve MU problems, especially Wan-Bissaka who is believed to fill the right-back post.
Now, quoting The Sun, Solskjaer is said to want three more players. The three players consist of one midfielder, one central defender and one player to increase the attacking power of his team.
MU have lost Marouane Fellaini Ander Herrera, no substitute has come. There is also the possibility of losing Paul Pogba. That is, the new midfielder is one of MU’s serious needs ahead of the new season.
Not only that, MU is also said to be losing Romelu Lukaku. The Belgian striker is reportedly ready to leave Old Trafford because he did not get a place in the Solskjaer core team.
Pogba continues to be linked with transfers to Real Madrid or Juventus, while Lukaku is targeted by Inter Milan. If these two players go away, Solskajer is believed to be asking Ed Woodward to look for two substitutes.
So far MU continue to be linked with Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes. The Portugal midfielder is seen as able to add to the quality of Manchester United’s midfield.
